Walking in a winter wonderland....

We now have about 8" of snow and counting! It's so beautiful and peaceful. I love seeing everything covered in a blanket of white. Except now we're without power :( so that doesn't make things fun at all.

CT scan news.... they came back showing that most of the tumors in the lower back region have actually grown in the past month. Cody's in a lot of pain, but doing good and trying to keep a positive attitude. We have a consultation this afternoon with Dr. Joseph, the radiologist, in Ukiah (about 1 hr away from home).

My heart is heavy for the "tumor news" you received. Don't stress if they say radiation is what will help those in the low back. Sometimes it takes the chemo and radiation to "kill those cells". I have seen it mixed many times before and I have also seen it work miracles. My love and prayers to you both. Mama B in Western North Carolina without snow!

Radiation is good pain management. He should get relief from the pain even before the tumors shrink.

If it works, it's all good. Praise God for modern medicine. For as sucky as the procedures are they are at least life giving! So I celebrate with you that there is a cure for him!! Hugs to you both. The snow is PRETTIER THERE than here (and I don't want any more here!) Bah Humbug!! Sandy
