Have you ever had one of those days...

where it just seems like everywhere you go, people are just really NICE? Have you ever noticed?

I paid close attention this morning all the while smiling in my heart and wondering what God is up to. From Kelly, who registered Cody at the hospital to Cynthia and Michelle who were in charge of the CT scans, I just felt incredible peace and love. It sort of seems like a lot of people know us at the hospital. I mean, we've only been there about 10 times in the past couple months. But it's also a really small hospital. Still, I just felt such love and encouragement from everyone we encountered this morning. We even got invited to Cynthia's house in Costa Rica! I've never been to Costa Rica, but it sure does sound amazing! I felt the favor of the Lord today in a way that I haven't felt it in a while. Thank You Jesus! And thank you to all of you who are constantly interceeding on our behalf.

We don't have any results back yet from any of the scans. I'm sure it'll take a few days, but please continue to pray for good reports.

Please pray for us over the next couple days as we're down at Stanford. I just found out a couple days ago that Patrick Swayze is getting chemo at the same cancer center where we'll be going. We've been praying for him and asking God to somehow let our paths cross. We would love to be able to encourage him and share with him how Jesus has gotten us thru this crazy time in our lives. Hey, I know it's a big request... but I think God likes it when we dream BIG! Anything is possible with Him. So please join us in asking God to give us an opportunity to share with Patrick Swayze.
