This past friday night, Cody and I attended a 24 hour worship session at Cobb Mountain Community Church. We were only able to go for a few hours and went during the time that a former Muslim named Khalida was sharing her testimony. Friends of ours from church brought Cody a recliner to sit in so that he would be comfortable and could stay longer. Thank you, Bill and Naomi Key! We love and bless you guys!

As I sat behind Cody, I noticed that the recliner had all these eagles in flight printed all over it. God reminded me right away of Isaiah 40:31... "but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Cody will soar on wings like eagles; he will run and not grow weary, he will walk and not faint."

God is always speaking and always offering encouragement. We just have to pay attention.

It's been such a long, hard road but we can finally see a light at the end of the tunnel. I wish all of you could see Cody, especially those of you who don't live here. This morning we walked into the oncologist's office for round 2 of chemo and one of the nurses who hasn't seen Cody in a while says, "Cody???" Almost like she didn't recognize him. "You look so good!"

Looking back over the past few months, I can't believe we've come so far. My eyes are filling up with tears of joy as I think about how God has gotten us through such a crazy time. I honestly don't know how we ever would've done this without Him. He calls us by name.
