The report of the Lord

This morning, as I got out of bed, I noticed something white on my shoulder out of the corner of my eye. It was a small feather. We weren't using down pillows, so sweet Jesus must've put it there to remind us that He is still covering us with His feathers.

Last night, Cody and I went to the healing rooms at our 'other' home church, Mountain Vintage Fellowship. It was such a beautiful time of prayer and encouragement for both of us. Very much needed!

God also answered a question that I have been wrestling with for months. God has not done this, but He has provided a way out. He is not the source or the origin and it's not His will. BUT, as He promises in Romans 8:28, He will cause all things to work for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose.

The report of the Lord is this: Cody will not die, but live, to declare what the Lord has done. (Psalm 118:17)

God is not a man, that He should lie. He is not a human, that He should change His mind. Has He ever spoken and failed to act? Has He ever promised and not carried it through? (Numbers 28:19)

The answer is no. He is faithful. He is so trustworthy. He loves us, oh how He loves us. We can believe that what He has promised will come to pass.

"All miracle -work is not the work of a moment as so often men imagine." (God Calling, April 4th)

This blog is a legacy of belief. It's a trail of hope and a journey of faith. It's a beautiful story in and of itself.
