As I sit here on the couch, I can hear Bill Johnson's voice off in the distance. Cody's taking a eucalyptus and basil bubble bath while he listens to the ipod. Bill just shared a testimony of a lady who had terminal cancer and couldn't even make it to one of his meetings. So he sent a team to her house to pray for her. God touched her and she is totally healed today!
We are completely surrounded by miraculous testimonies. Literally everywhere we turn we hear of someone who got healed of cancer. I believe our miracle is coming.
Last night, Cody seemed really weak and tired so I did what I do best. I grabbed the thermometer! :) Cody seriously does not like it when I do that. He always fusses and says "I'm fine! I don't have a fever!"
But this time he did. It was at 101.6 so we went to the ER. I knew his white counts were super low and a fever could mean an infection.
On the way to the ER, God reminded me of the time Jesus rebuked a fever. So I started praying for Cody and rebuked the fever in Jesus name. He instantly felt better and by the time we got to the ER, his temp was lower. Today it's completely normal and Cody feels fine... thank You, Jesus!
While at the ER, Cody was given a platelet transfusion. He did great and his body accepted them just like they were his own.
We got home at 2:30am and slept til noon! :)
Please continue to stand with us for Cody's white counts to rise. We have an appt this afternoon for a blood test, so I'll update again as soon as we know. God has made a way for us to go to Lakeland and we don't want anything to hinder or stand in the way of that.
Thank you so much to all of you who are standing in agreement with us for Cody's complete healing. Your joy and excitement encourages us so much! I feel like we can run this race with the great cloud of witnesses cheering us on. We love our family!
