Day 4 of chemo and besides a real lack of energy, Cody's doing good. He hasn't had any crazy side effects at all, praise God!

One of the chemo drugs that Cody gets is called Cistplatin and is known for being one of the worst ones, BUT Cody has done great with it. Just yesterday one of his oncology nurses said she just couldn't believe how great Cody is doing. Most of her patients ask to stop getting it because it's just so nasty.

Since Cody's currently getting radiation and chemo at the same time, his red blood count is way low. So he'll be getting a transfusion on saturday. This is actually a good thing and I am soooo much more ok with this now than I was a couple months ago (if you remember).

Please pray for Cody to have renewed energy and strength... and also JOY. He's just so joyless lately and honestly, is more than ready for all of this to be over. Who wouldn't be, right?
