Oh man, tonight was truly somethin' else! Just when I think it can't get any better, God goes and does something else. I love how He is just so limitless. There is absolutely no end to His magnificent love! His heart is so BIG and He loves us so much that He often goes to great lengths to show us.
Once again, we arrived fairly early and by the time the meeting started, Cody was worn out. His back and neck were hurting making it almost impossible for him to sit in the chair. So he went into the other tent that's empty, propped up his pillows and laid down on the floor. In the meantime, I was up front interceeding for him during worship.
Later on when we came back together, Cody started sharing with me about a lady he had just met. When he woke up he discovered her sitting behind him. While walking past Cody, God told her to pray for him. So for the next 40 minutes, she prayed while he slept. Totally unaware. It really blessed Cody to think that someone would wanna sit there and pray for him for almost an hour. When he woke up, they started talking and she said to him "God's not in the meeting, He's back here with you. You're one of His favorites." She went on say that she was so happy to get to pray for one of God's favorites :) She gave him her card and invited us to stay with her and her husband at IHOP.
One of our friends gave us a prophetic word this morning that God was going to give us divine connections. That word couldn't be more right on! So far we have connected with a pastor from Southern California, a pastor and his wife from New Orleans (who has preached all over Mexico and has a heart for Nepal, as do we), another pastor and his wife from England, and a guy from India who invited us to visit his church in Mumbai. All these pastors, hmmm?!
Cody received so much anointed prayer tonight. He went forward for the ministry team to pray for him and afterwards, his back felt so much better. Praise God!
During the meeting, Todd called for people who had been healed to come to the altar. Cody and I walked up front just to be close, to see those testing out their healings. While standing there, God pointed out a guy to me and told me to ask him to pray for Cody. So we walked over and I said, " Will you pray for my husband? I don't know why you, but can you just pray?" At that moment, his wife said that she was suppose to pray for Cody last night but for whatever reason she didn't. She repented and took the opportunity tonight. We shared a sweet little time of prayer and they gave us their card. They are pastors at a church in England, but are actually coming to Lake County (where we live) for vacation in a couple wks! So hopefully, we can see them again.
Tomorrow (friday) I'm going to power evangelism training. Please pray that God will impart to me His heart for evangelism.
God has been building our faith all week. We have seen more miracles in the past 3 days than all of our years put together on the mission field! I can't wait to see what God's gonna do tomorrow night.

Any one that even walks past Cody can feel he's one of God's favorites. That's how Ken met him--he felt him before he saw him...... HUGS and enjoy!
