quick update

So sorry it's been so long, but we've had a crazy busy week and no wireless :(

The appointment at Stanford went great! X-rays showed all the hardware in place, so the reason for the pain was a mystery. I say "was", because it's gone. Just as fast as it came on, it left. Weird.

We've been in and out of the oncologists office all week checking labs. All counts are low, so today Cody's getting infused with 2 units of red blood cells and 2 units of platelets.

Also, we found out a couple days ago that Cody is done with chemo! This should be reason to celebrate, but it really only means a few steps closer to the bone marrow / stem cell transplant. We have our first consultation on July 17th at Stanford.

In the meantime, WE ARE GOING TO MEXICO!! We fly out tuesday, July 1st... not exactly sure when we'll return. We don't have to be anywhere until July 16th, so we're planning to just take it slow, go to the beach, enjoy lots of yummy Mexican food, rest, breathe, and not think about anything. A much needed break. I know we've been all over the past few months... North Carolina, Florida... but I do believe that a change of scenery is much needed, again!

On another note, this past monday night we went to the healing rooms. Cody got lots of anointed prayers and has been doing amazing ever since! His joy level has increased, he has more energy, and his appetite's back... praise Jesus!
