Cody got out of the hospital yesterday and we're now staying in the home of a couple that we just met last night. They're super cool... love Jesus.. and totally laid back, which is a good fit for us. They definitely have the gift of hospitality. Their pastor, John Ortberg, is the author of If You Want To Walk On Water, You've Got To Get Out Of The Boat.
Cody's feeling a little better and definitely taking less pain medicine, praise God! We saw the radiologist this morning and he's really pleased with how well Cody has responded to the treatment. Not only are they radiating the T2 fracture, but also others areas that were questionable. By the time this treatment is over, Cody will have had radiation on his entire spine! Cody seems a lot more tired lately and has already started to feel a little soreness in his throat. Please keep praying protection over his esophagus.
Wes and Nikki left this morning and we were sad to see them go! :( But so blessed that God sent them here to walk with us thru this crazy past week. It was definitely orchestrated by Him.
Some things you can pray for specifically:
- protection over Cody's esophagus
- continued joy and peace
- that we'd be able to find a community of believers to meet with
- wisdom
- grace
God bless you!

I just learned (from Hallie) about what you have been going through Cody. What an incredibly difficult road to walk! There is not much I can say, but know I love you and am praying for you. -- Jeff godspeaceofclay@yahoo.com
...or perhaps God gave you YWAM to prepare you for a time...such as this. To be comfortable knowing no matter where you are HE is with you.
I praise God for your victories and I pray that God will continue to mold this complete victory for HIS GLORY and to your health!
all my love.
