blackberry pickin'

We just spent a really nice, self-appointed 3 day weekend at home. For me, it was refreshing to be out of the city and back in the mountains for a few days. I honestly didn't wanna leave!
We spent saturday afternoon pickin' wild blackberries... it doesn't get much more organic than that. We had a blast... and Cody did awesome! I actually tuckered out long before he did.

We're now back at Stanford... well, Redwood City... but the campus is only about 10 minutes away.

We have a really busy week coming up and would appreciate your prayers so much. Cody will continue radiation on the fracture everyday this week. Wednesday morning we have an appt with the bone marrow team. At Stanford, you don't get taken care of by just one doctor.. there's a whole team of them! Since it's a teaching hospital, there's always a few students around too. Anyway, and then on thursday, Cody will have a consultation for the specialized radiation on his brain which is called 'cyberknife'.
We found out on friday that there's only one small lesion on his brain and it's only about the size of a small pea. What a huge relief! So the cyberknife will be really easy without any side effects.

Cody's feeling a lot better and is taking less and less pain medicine... praise Jesus! His left shoulder hurts a lot once in a while, so if you could please still pray for that.

We're definitely hangin' in there... and trusting God daily.
