Yesterday was a pretty long one with 4 appt's back to back.

It's pretty early here (7am) and we're sitting in the waiting room at Stanford. This morning, Cody's going to have an MRI of his brain and will get fitted for a special mask that he will have to wear during the cyberknife.

Radiation on the fracture is going good with no side effects, praise God! Cody's throat feels fine so far, but please keep praying protection over it.

So yesterday... we met with Dr. Srinivas (oncologist) just for a check-up so that she could basically see how Cody's doing since he left the hospital. The appt went good, except she told us that Cody's AFP tumor marker level has gone up to 200 since last week. This is not good news. There's a possibility that he'll have to have more chemo in the very near future.

We also met with Dr. Johnston, who is the bone marrow specialist. She didn't really tell us much that we didn't already know, except a few lousy statistics that no bible believing, God trusting person would listen to anyway! :) I'm just so glad that God is bigger than all of this! Sometimes I feel like I'm about to totally lose it and then this amazing peace just settles over me and I hear that inner whisper telling me to trust. God keeps reminding me lately that the world is not the Kingdom. We have so much to look forward to!

Anyway, so basically the BMT probably won't happen for atleast a month or 2. There's a lot of preparations that go into it. Cody had a blood test yesterday just to make sure he's all healthy in other areas. Next he'll have a series of tests on his heart, kidneys, lung function, etc. The BMT sounds like such an intense process! I got teary eyed just listening to the doctor explain it all.

There's also a lot of insurance stuff that has to happen, which is a huge prayer request. Please pray that there won't be any delays... but mostly that God will give us incredible favor with the insurance company.

And Cody wants me to ask you to pray that we would be able to do fun stuff :) We spend so much time at Stanford lately. We're about half an hour from San Francisco, so we might go exploring this weekend.
