I just started reading The Shack, which has totally captivated all of my attention... so please forgive me if the blog suffers for a few days. If you haven't read The Shack yet, I highly recommend it.

We spent all day saturday at 'home'... resting, relaxing, being lazy.. and it was nice! Sunday we visited PCC again and are so blessed with all the amazing people that God is connecting us with.

Even though Cody hasn't been feeling the greatest lately, it's been so beautiful watching him press in during times of worship. He says he feels like he's gotten so much closer to God in the past couple weeks. I've seen such a change in him too. He's so hungry and has all these wild ideas for evangelism!

Watching him worship God is so raw and so tender. My heart feels like it's gonna burst sometimes. The beauty of the Lord and the anointing that rests on Cody just comes pouring out.. and you can't help but to get caught up in it.

We don't have a lot going on during the first part of the week. Wednesday morning Cody has an appt to get the staples removed... and then chemo starts thursday.

Cody's tongue and his vision are still the same, so I just want to ask you to please keep praying for healing in both.

We trust God and know that He is working in this for our good. Even though we can't see or remotely understand what's happening, we know that God loves us so much and has only our good in mind. His plans are not to harm us, but to give us hope and a future. This is the promise that we're leaning on today.
