The CT showed that the tumor started bleeding again, which is why Cody was having such a bad headache.
After a little bit of scrambling around to figure things out, the neurosurgeon decided to surgically remove the tumor. Cody just went into surgery (1:54pm Pacific). It sounds like it's a pretty straight forward procedure and should only last about an hour and a half or 2 hrs.
Cody was in great spirits and showed such courage. I wish I could say the same for myself. Please pray for the surgery to go smoothly and for the recovery to be quick.
Cody's 25th birthday is on thursday... which he'll spend in the hospital :(
We covet your prayers!

Prayers for you BOTH!!
Hi Amy
I am praying for you both. Thank you for sharing your real feelings. I believe it is harder to watch someone you love in pain than to take the pain yourself. I will pray for complete healing and for God to be glorified in this chapter of your life He has written.

You are in our thoughts and prayers. We have been praying throughout this day. We love you both so much.
Look behind you, where you have come from and through...see the faithfulness of the Lord? He continues to be faithful for He IS faithful. He continues to hide you in the shadow of His wing.
Much Love...vickie and the gang
We love you guys and will continue to pray that God will be glorified and exalted in your healing and in your attitudes. Surely His work will not return to Him void.
Amy, you are strong and have been such an example of what trusting God is all about. You don't always have to be strong because this is "tough stuff". God expects us to be brokenhearted and crushed in spirit so her gives us the following scripture:
"The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Ps 34: 17-18
Waiting for your next blog mail.
Loving you and praying,
Mama B
