Puzzled!

I love getting mail! It's no secret. Everyone who knows me knows that I love receiving a handwritten card or letter. There's just something about it that warms my heart.

And how warm my heart was last week, when I went to the office to find an envelope addressed to me. But this wasn't just any ole envelope! No return address. Don't recognize the handwriting. "What is this??" I practically shouted with glee to my friend Cathy. I carefully opened it and out fell 2 "homemade" puzzle pieces. I was so excited and full of wonder. Who could they be from?

Yesterday, almost a full week later (the wait was torture..haha), I received 2 more puzzle pieces. As you can see in the last picture, it's starting to come together. Although I can't tell yet what it says. But it's ok... I love the mystery, the suspense, and imagination, and creativity that went into it. Whoever is doing this... whoever you are... wow! Thank you for giving me something to look forward to. I love it!

Today I was having lunch with my friend, Vickie, and just couldn't wait to tell her about the puzzle. She's so creative, I knew this would be right up her alley. After sharing with her, she could hardly contain her excitement, which only made me that much more excited. Guess what some of her first words were?
"Does it have its own table??"
HAHA! Well, it didn't... but now it does :) I cleared off the big wooden desk in the dining room and there they sit. Waiting. Mysteriously waiting.
Should I light some candles?
