... but peace shall be upon Jerusalem

This past week hasn't exactly been a fun one. On top of being sick, I went thru a wide range of emotions. I'm feeling so much better physically, but still coughing a lot, congested, and still can't really taste or smell anything. I'm really hoping and praying to kick this crud by wednesday! Flying with congestion is excruciatingly painful!

On a happier note, the DTS is graduating this morning! Stay tuned for pictures. It's an exciting day as they're one of the most amazing group of students I've ever had the privilege of being involved with. It's also a sad day as most of us will be going our separate ways. But hey, it's YWAM, so who knows where we might run into each other again someday. It's a big world out there, the possibilities are endless.

This morning I woke up with the words "Psalm 125" in my head. So I grabbed my Bible to see what it said. I really love what the KJV says...

"They that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion,
which cannot be removed, but abideth forever.

As the mountains are round about Jerusalem, so the Lord is round about His people from henceforth even forever.

For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity.

Do good, O Lord, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts.

As for such as turn aside to their crooked ways, the Lord shall lead them forth with the workers of iniquity: but peace shall be upon Jerusalem."

Vs 1 gives me life this morning. Just think - they {that's you and me} that trust in the Lord shall be as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth forever. I could meditate on that one line all day... :)

Thank you for sharing this wonderful word! It indeed gives life to us during this season. Lord touch Amy's body and drive the lingering effects of this virus away. Heal her completely, in the name that is above all names!

Hey sweet girl, I am praying for you as you start in the direction of the Middle East. I pray you will feel totally better and that you have safe travel and a GREAT time with the Boone and Parker children. Give my son and daughter a big ol' hug from me. They have only been gone a week and I am still a "mama mess". I am so happy for them but so sad for me - well, selfish, what can I say. Wish you could just go on to Uganda with them. YWAM is involved in the ministry in Jinja too....

Go off with my love and be sure and blog us when you can. I have not heard from J & T since Wednesday. The resort on the Red Sea where they are now doesn't have wireless so they only purchased an hour of time in the resort lobby. Was so hoping to hear from them today...humm...

Love from the Boone home in Black Mountain...
