Jericho and the desert

i love Jericho! as soon as you roll into town, you get this warm climate, laid back, Central American feel. if i didn't hear the call to prayer and see beautiful Arabic writing all over, i might have thought i was in Latin America. Jericho is a quaint little town in the middle of the desert, with views of the Jordanian mountains. i could definitely see myself living in there :) but i'm sure i wouldn't like the 120 degree temp's in the summer!
Jericho - lowest place and oldest city on earth
somewhere in the desert near Jericho
this is sami - isn't he cuuute!?
old city Jericho
"new" city Jericho
Zaccheaus' tree
i love camels!

Sami is cute. Don't they spit? Is camels or llamas or both? My mom said they were a little stinky!! I'd love to ride a camel for my mode of transportation.

Hello Mommy Camel!
haha. I love the pictures and would LOVE even more to be there:) hahaha. Is that really the tree where zaccheus climbed to see Jesus. I am singing and doing the dance to the song, "Joshua fought the battle of Jericho!"
