i can't believe i have to think about leaving. it so seems like i just got here. the past month has flown by! my friends and i spent one last 'fun' day roaming around Jericho again and floating in the dead sea. it was so relaxing and much needed. it's always nice to get out of the city.

at the dead sea, we started with a little float in the chilly waters of the sea. then moved on to rubbing warm mud all over our bodies (see pic below) and then sat down to let the mud dry. it was so soothing, although my skin totally hated me for it. after rinsing the mud off, my skin was so red and itchy. hello sensitive skin. from there we moved on to the natural hot springs for one last soak/float. it was super relaxing!

we wandered around Jericho again and could've sworn we were in Nicaragua. we met up with a guy that we had met on our first trip and spent the afternoon with him. he treated us to a really nice dinner and then coffee and hookah (no, i didnt!) at the InterContinental Jericho Hotel.

my life has been one amazingly surreal experience after another lately.
