definitely been a little MIA from the blog lately. i havent really been in the writing mood.
the past month has been one of the hardest to date, but today is good and im on my way out the door to Charlotte for a conference with Mahesh Chavda and Bill Johnson. it doesnt get much better than that!

as hard as the past month has been, i can say with absolute conviction that God is so beautiful and He is always working the messes of life out for our ultimate good. its a great mystery to me how He does that, but He does it and it's good.

several times ive thought to myself.. "is this what the desert looks like?" , "is this the valley of the shadow of death?"

"my eyes will see His grace and i WILL sing a new song. when i walk thru the valley of the shadow of death, He is there. His grace is covering me. He will give me fountains in the valley of death. He will open rivers in desolate heights. i will find pools of water in the valley." (Tim Scroggs)

He is a redeeming God .. and that is what i choose to focus on.

i'm learning that prosperity in the valley can only be found thru His presence, His spirit. it's His presence that brings healing. not books, or people (although those things are good and much needed and God uses them.. and God knows ive needed both!), but ultimately it has to be the glorious presence of God.

im learning. slowly but surely, praise God.

I don't always comment, but I am still here and I still pray. I will be praying for a really peaceful night tonight and some really sweet dreams from Jesus. Love you, Missy

AMEN...valleys are valleys and even though our circumstances are different, the truth you have shared is for all of us walking thru the valley. Thank you for encouraging me, sweet lady. My prayer for you is that you feel HIS loving arms holding you as he carries you thru this season in your life and may you continue to be a beacon, showing a hurting world the source of your strength. Blessings!
