from those of you who don't know, i'm currently living in Jaipur (aka The Pink City), Rajasthan. i'm teaching English at Bharat Ke Tare (Stars of India) school which is a ministry of YWAM-Jaipur. the students really are STARS let me tell you! they are so eager to learn, so happy, and so full of life - even though they all live in the slums. some come to class with no shoes, clothes too small, or they are wearing the same clothes for a few consecutive days. most have lice, some have scabies. but despite all that, they always come with a huge smile on their face and a "jaimasiki di di" (praise the Lord, sister) on their lips! i absolutely love and adore them. i'm tearing up just typing.. :)

we have a small team of 5 here now from New Zealand. a DTS outreach. 2 Canadians, a Norwegian, a South African, and a Swiss. love the diversity! today is Philippe's birthday (the Swiss) and he got sang to in easily 5 different languages (Norwegian, Afrikaans, Hindi, English, and Spanish) over breakfast!

oh, i love the nations!
