Later that night we went to the Church of Glad Tidings (http://www.churchofgladtidings.com/) for the prayer meeting. I was completely blown away by how many saints gathered around us to pray for Cody's healing! In Cody's words, it felt like a gathering of warriors. Imagine atleast 100 people speaking the languages of heaven all at the same time... it was glorious!!
We got to meet Uncle Jim and Aunt Kathy Foster's 2 daughters, Jennifer Givens and Kate Rollins, and their families. Jennifer was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma 4 years ago... and today, she is totally healed, healthy and lovin' Jesus! She is such a beautiful testimony of God's healing power. We were so incredibly blessed by the Fosters, Givens, and Rollins families! You guys are amazing and you will never know how much you've touched and continue to touch our hearts with your love and kindness. THANK YOU!
This week Cody is having 5 days of chemo, 4 hours each day. The nurses couldn't give the chemo yesterday because he had been constipated for 5 days and having a hard time urinating. So they sent him to a lady who specializes in colon therapy... and for 2 hrs, Cody was given a colon cleanse. He felt so much better afterwards and has even started urinating normal again. Praise God for colonix! Isn't it funny the things we'll start to praise God for in crazy situations?! :)
This morning, Cody woke up bright and early and ready to take a bath. I, on the otherhand, wanted to sleep a little longer. I knew that if Cody was up that meant I had to be up too.
He was even trying to dance around the bathroom a little! He's feeling so good today... and we just praise God for His little tender mercies here and there.
We also praise God that Cody's breathing is back to normal and he hasn't had any problems with his lungs in a couple weeks!
Please pray with us against anymore constipation.
On a more exciting note, on our way home from Yuba City, we saw a herd of Elk!! Yes, that definitely makes this North Carolina girl very happy! I felt like a little kid as I jumped out of the car to take pictures :)

Ask the doctor about ongoing medication for the constipation problem. Pain meds cause that so it's something will have to be treated all the way thru the process. Or see if he can just get weekly colonics.
Hi Amy and Cody !
Just wanted to tell you I spoke with my mother in law a few min ago and we are working on getting all your supplaments for you. My mother in law ( Nikki)was the one who set my sis Jennifer up with all her daily supplaments. She is great and very smart. Ronnie is setting up a donation thru the church for people who want to contribute we have had several ask if they can help with anything so with him being the church's accountant he can get that going for cost involved in the things we can get you thru Nikki If you would like. Nikki would like you to call her or she can call you tonight around 7:00. Amy I was curious if you had an e mail or a cel ? We are praying for you guys.
God Bless!
Katie

I am so thrilled that Cody is having some good days and that you are there with him! I know you are praising God for the results you are seeing in Cody's health. I am praising with you! I am thrilled that you have now met "three new families" that are close enough to spend time with in CA. I have been praying that God would send you new friends that could hug you, cry with you, pray with you, and love you - like we do at the Boone home in Western North Carolina. Will continue to pray for both of you and specifically about the colon situation - what a misery that can be even when you are not dealing with treatments and all that Cody is dealing with at this time. Remember, that God's mercies are new every morning and I pray that you feel Him near you as you wake up each day. My love to you from Mama Boone
Hello, Amy and Cody, from WNC. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. As we go to BBC tonight for a church wide prayer gathering, you both will be great in our prayers. We have been keeping up with you via our prayer group--I am in a group with Sandra and Wayne is at Tommy's. You are so strong. God is so good. Remember, we may be here, but our prayers and our hugs and our words are with you constantly. Wayne and Angie Stafford
Hey guys! I haven't had a chance to get on the computer in a few days and I was pleased with what I saw today. Way to go Cody! Isn't it funny how we take for granted the smallest everyday things such as using the bathroom! :) I pray for you both everyday and know that God is with you.
The boys are out of school today because we got about 3" of snow. They are wild as ever. Nana said you want pics so they are on the way. Talk to you soon!
Love-Dawn
