Cody was stoked to take a walk in the freshly fallen snow.
We had a good visit with the oncologist at UCSF on thursday. He's our favorite so far. Very personable and friendly. He didn't really tell us anything we didn't already know though. He did say he would be a fool to make us drive 2 1/2 hrs to UCSF every week. So he set Cody up for chemo with an oncologist about 30 minutes away from home. If Cody has to be seen for anything major, we'll go to UCSF.
When Cody had a CT scan of his abdomen in Mexico, everything was clear. He had a CT scan at Stanford last week and it wasn't clear. I'm guessing things spread really fast over the past 2 - 3 weeks.
We don't have any news about the blood clot. The doctor at UCSF seems hopeful that the chemo will get rid of it and Cody won't have to take a blood thinner. He'll have a follow up CT scan of his abdomen in a couple weeks.
Cody's hair is falling out a lot faster than we imagined it would. I'm totally ok with it, but Cody's not sure how he feels about it yet. He keeps playin' with the idea of shaving his head. If he does, there will be pictures! :)

Hey guys! I am so thankful for the "blessing of less travel" for the chemo. I put you on another prayer sheet at Biltmore Baptist this morning. Since we all have children about your age, everyone was saddened by the news I gave them of your situation. You will be prayed for by those warriors. I know what kind of "praying people" they are because they have prayed us through many tests, surgeries, and chemo treatments. I pray for pain free days, His protection for both of you and for God's presence to be felt every minute of each night and day. My love to you. Mama B (Sandra)
Hey guys,
Just so you know we pray for you all the time at Surfing The Nations and you'll always be part of our OHANA so don't forget that! I just had the flu yesterday and it's funny cause the whole day I couldn't stop thinking about how blessed we are to be healthy and Cody you and Amy were on my heart and prayers almost constantly yesterday so know that you are on the top of my prayer list. Aloha and lotsa love from Hawaii!
Chris
