White cells continue to climb. Red cells are finally gettin' the hang of it. Platelets are even on the move. Thank You, Jesus!

Cody is feeling better everyday. He's eating... slowly but surely. We'll definitely be outta here this weekend, either tomorrow or sunday. Cody has to be taking in atleast 1,000 calories on his own before his doctor will release him.

Although Cody is trying really hard, he seems to be having some problems with his stomach again. We're not sure if it's from the radiation or because he didn't eat anything for almost 2 weeks. Please pray specifically for complete and total healing of his stomach.

We're both definitely starting to get cabin fever. (all you east coasters know what that means. i said it to someone here the other day and they were like huh???) I've been staying here with Cody the entire time and it's actually been very restful, believe it or not.

We really believe that the hardest part is behind us. We have felt the intense heat of the refiner's fire, but it seems as if He has started to turn the flame down just a little bit. I guess a "thank You" is appropriate :)

We've had an amazing team of nurses and CNA's taking care of Cody. And even though I wasn't a patient, they were constantly asking if I needed or wanted anything. I even got FREE meals from the cafeteria... thanks to Frankie! Dr. Stanley, the attending physician, and Dr. Turrill, Cody's oncologist, have been awesome too... stopping by everyday and giving Cody little pep talks along the way. I wish I could name everyone individually who played a role in seeing Cody get better. Thank you guys so much! God bless ya'll at Sutter Lakeside! You do your jobs with excellence!

Praying about that stomach of yours! It must be really confused! Isn't it strange that when you need to eat 1000 calories that seems like so much food but if you are dieting, 1000 calories comes at ya quick. Hoping you soon eat spaghetti, mac n cheese and your mama's enchiladas!!! Yummie!! Hey, am I seeing dark "thingies" where you usually have facial hair? You must be off the chemo and the facial hair is wanting to come back!!! Can't wait but don't grow too much facial hair cause I love seeing your awesome smile. You and Amy have the same smile and I LOVE it. Love and prayers, Mama B

You can do the Brown Song & Dance for a good report (always done when something good happens): "Go Cody, It's ur birthday, shake your booty, do a dance! Go Cody, It's ur birthday shake your booty!!" Then we do some ghetto dance.

Great report! Keep the upward climb.
