No news yet

The 'skeletal survey' went pretty good yesterday, definitely longer than we expected though. It was basically about 30 x-rays of different bones in Cody's body, minus the toes and fingers :)
We don't have any results yet and probably won't know anything until monday.

Cody started physical therapy on his right shoulder today. He says it has totally given him hope and he feels like he's part of a team with his therapist coaching him along. It's only day 1, but it has done wonders for him mentally. He really enjoyed all the different activities and movements. Physical therapy is also going to do wonders for Cody's posture. We're both excited to see him regain some muscle strength and gain some energy.

On another note, we are celebrating our 6 mth anniversary at a resort in Napa Valley. Cody's sister, Hallie, works at Solage ( http://www.solagecalistoga.com/ ) and was able to get us a room here. I'll write more about that later, but right now I'm gonna go enjoy this amazing room and my sweet husband! :)

The therapy is a great thing. Tommy is a member of a "fitness center" in Black Mountain. I can always tell the days he doesn't go. It is amazing how much difference it makes. Tommy's muscle tone is weakened by his chemo so the therapy keeps his muscles "up and running".

Enjoy that great place and each other. Congrats on your 6th month of marriage. It has been a tough one but what would Cody have done without you, Amy! And what would you have done if you were not able to help him through this health challenge? God still has plans for you without this "C" and I can't wait to see how He will use both of you.

Love and prayers,
Mama B
