The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much!

Thank you for holding our arms up.

I have nothing but good news to report today, glory to God! Cody's actually feeling better and seems a little more perky. The chest x-ray and EKG came back totally normal and Cody hasn't had any more chest pain. Sometimes I'd really be interested in seeing into the spiritual realm when crazy things like this happen out of the blue.

Cody's blood counts are also looking good, which is amazing after 2 full days of chemo. On monday, his platelets were low again but today they've actually RISEN - which is also amazing!

The past 2 days have been hard and discouraging for me, but today I'm full of hope again. I'm so thankful God is consistent and unchanging, never wavering. It helps so much to know that He is not swayed by a little chest pain or things that seem like a big deal to us. He's always calm... thank goodness!
And to know that so many of you are constantly praying for us means more than I can ever say. We love God's kids and His amazing family that we get to be a part of!

Here are a few pics that I took in 'the healing garden' right outside the oncology office. The flowers are so beautiful and smell heavenly.

Cody & Amy... I love the fact that no matter how far away we are from one another...on the other side of the globe or down the street... we CAN be prayer warriors for one another. God answers prayers in closets, in fields of flowers and in hospital beds. God answers prayers. I rest alongside you both, as the healing has begun.
