Open Heaven conference was amazing! I got to be in the presence of the Lord all weekend! It was so refreshing, cleansing, and healing for my heart. There is nothing like the presence of the Lord. After someone that we love goes to be with Jesus, the world tells us that we shouldn't grieve for too long... that we should get busy (= being under satan's yoke), do something, distract yourself, try not to think about it.
BUT that is so contrary to God's heart. He wants us to simply do nothing, except sit with Him. Let Him comfort us in a way that only He can and to heal us. He wants to arrest our hearts and minds. He wants to open up the wound, cleanse it and pour in the water and the wine.
The conference ended this morning and I wish I had more time to write all that God did, but I'm back at YWAM-Charlotte and we're gearing up for the SE DTS conference. Every base in the SE will come to Charlotte for a week of worship and teaching.
I'm not sure how often I'll have a chance to update this week. God bless you!

Perfect! Just rest in the Lord Amy. That's the real healing deal. The rest is surface helpfulness. Only He is the deep wound master!
Amy,
Honey you are so strong and so amazing. I really don't know how you do it. My heart hurts for you and yet I'm grieving also.
I've not got over Cody, until my Mother went to meet Jesus, and now I'm told that my daddy is going home also. How much can one person take? I sure could use the water and wine about now...lol
My Mother told us that daddy would be right behind her, but dang does it have to be so close?
