youth with a mission... and some new pics

Yesterday afternoon I arrived back at YWAM-Charlotte to such a warm welcome including lots of hugs and kisses on the cheek, which I love :) Coming here always feels like coming 'home'. Infact, I'm not only sleeping in the same room that I was in 3 years ago, but also the same exact bed! Don't tell me God doesn't have a sense of humor.

I woke up to a true southern breakfast complete with scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, and homemade grits - not that microwave stuff! Sorry the pictures are definitely not corresponding with what I'm taking about.
Anyway, it's great to be here and I know it will do my heart good to be around so many amazing people! The current DTS (Discipleship Training School) students are awesome. It's refreshing to see their hunger and passion for God. Next month, they will take off half way around the world to Pune, India to serve Jesus in the slums with women and children affected by HIV/AIDS.
I'm sure you'll be hearing more and more about the students as our lives are intertwined during this season.

On another note, here are a few pictures I took the other day. I'll have some up from around here real soon, so check back often.
