winter wonderland
Oh how I love the feeling of waking up to a beautiful blanket of freshly fallen snow. There's just something so magical about it, in a Narnia sort of way. When I heard the weather forecast last night, straight off of Wayne's iphone (I think that's what it is??!), my spirit automatically kicked into "anticipation" mode, which made for one sleepless night :) Now I realize some of you probably live in parts of the country where snow is no big deal. You might not even get excited over it anymore. But for me, this is good!
There's something about snow that bring such a sense of peace. All is quiet on this Tuesday morning. I love quiet. So as I sit here with my cold cup of Swiss Chocolate Almond coffee (cold because I can't sit still...), starring out the window at this glorious winter wonderland, a verse pops into my head.
"Come now, let us reason together," says the Lord. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." Isaiah 1:18
