About a month ago, I wrote about my friends who were going to India. Well, I'm happy to announce that they are alive and well, lovin' Jesus and His beautiful Indian remnant. Here's an email excerpt from one of the team leaders:
"Today was a little tough on the emotions. We went to a place called, "Home of Hope". It is a place that rescues dying people who live on the street. They get dropped off by the police or people call for them to come pick them up. They come and get treated for their illnesses, diseases and such. Many end up dying. It's a great place because they provide a peaceful environment for people to pass away. The other day they had a man who was hours away from dying. They baptized him and prayed with him. He accepted Christ and then went peacefully in the night."

I just get chills reading this. I love that ministry. And of course the next thought, hey I wanna do that!
Love, Teresa
Is that Mother Teresa's ministry that is still running? She ran homes for the dying, mostly lepers.
