de-stuffing

after watching the story of stuff yesterday, ive been on a mission. a mission to de-stuff my life. i cant stand it all anymore. i dont even have that much stuff really, but i feel like it just sits there giving me the evil eye. i dont like how it makes me feel, much less looking at it.

anyway, i went thru tons of papers, cards, letters, etc.. and will be making a huge deposit at the recycling center this week. i'm also in the process of going thru clothes, shoes, and other stuff to take to the flea market saturday morning. which im already a little discouraged about. i had a yard sale once... and i thought i had the best stuff ever for sale.. i mean, c'mon.. dont we ALL think that about our stuff when we're trying to get rid of it? anyway, the yard sale didnt go very well and i ended up lugging a lot of it back home.

i dont really care about making money, although that would be nice... but im prepared to write FREE on the boxes in big, black, bold letters. FREE. because i wanna be FREE.

its been quite therapeutic actually... throwing that old vest that i havent worn in years (literally!) into the box... there, take that... get outta here... and dont come back...

Hey, you will do good at smileys! We don't make a ton of money but we are free from the junk at least! We did a free box once too. It worked really well. Good luck!

You're funny and make me smile! Thanks for the honesty (and the laughs)

You go girl! May your time and efforts be well rewarded at the Flea market! I think you will do better than the garage sale at the flea market. I'm trying to get rid of things but I've lived in the same place for 25 years and well, stuff does tend to get collected in that amount of time! But here's to freedom of stuff!
