the past week has been incredibly refreshing. i feel like ive been on a much needed emotional/mental vacation. thank you, Jesus!

the conference was awesome... learned lots, but more importantly received impartation and revelation.

on another note, i just started a new book recommended by Seth Barnes called A Grace Disguised: How The Soul Grows Through Loss by Jerry Sittser. if only i had known about this book months ago! its so timely for me. this guy has profound insight and wisdom on the grief journey. he lost his wife, mother, and one of his daughters all in one night in a car crash.

anyway, if you or someone you know, is struggling with grief, i highly recommend this book!

"this present moment, this eternal now, is sacred because, however painful, it is the only time we have to be alive and to know God. the past is gone, the future not yet here. but the present is alive to us." - j. sittser
