it is absolutely mind blowing to me how fast time has flown!
Cody's birthday is on friday. he would've been 26.
not sure what i will do to 'celebrate'. it hardly seems right without him.
i am doing really well though. better than i have been in the past 10 1/2 mths. about 3 wks ago, i met with one of my spiritual mama's/mentors to talk and pray thru some stuff.... and ever since then i've felt so light. something shifted. something changed. i cant exactly pinpoint it, but i just know that Holy Spirit lifted a really heaven burden and i no longer feel as if the weight of the world is on my shoulders. thank you, Lord!
on another amazing note, i spoke with Cody's dad a few days ago for the first time in a long time... and he told me that he has rededicated his life to Jesus and in his words, is striving to be a man of integrity. hallelujah!

Hard to imagine it was a yr ago for that surgery. I am so glad that the grief is shifting and there is some movement there for you. I will be thinking of you both on Friday. What about YOUR b-day????
