a little after midnight last night, my mom got a call. when the phone rings in the middle of the night, it's usually never a good sign.
on the other end of the line was my cousin saying that my mom's 44 yr old "baby" brother was dead. we have no idea what happened.
rewinding... on monday he went in for back surgery. the doctors went in through his stomach, removing all of his vital organs during the operation. the surgery went fine...
on tuesday, he started passing blood and his blood pressure dropped. the doctors were able to stabilize him and he seemed ok. they sent him home on wednesday.
after he had been sleeping for 10 hours yesterday, his girlfriend went in to check on him. he was gasping for air. a little while later he died. it was so sudden.
this is the 5th death for our family in the past year. 4 of them being on my mom's side of the family.
please pray for her. she needs lots of grace and strength... and for Jesus to do only what He can do.
