i can feel drops of sweat slowly making their way down from the nape of my neck. supposedly this is the "cool" season, but i'm not buyin it.
the dusty fan is whirling above my head, but really all it does is redistribute the hot air. my kurta feels like an extra layer of skin, one that i would love to shed like a chameleon.
speaking of hot, Manoj bhaiya just knocked on the door. it's tea time. now i'm sitting in 100 degree heat, drinking a steaming cup of goodness. welcome to life in the east.
tomorrow i'm going to the Taj Mahal with the New Zealand team!!! it's my 3rd time to India, so high time. this shall be a late birthday present to myself. check back for photos.
the NZ team leaves thursday night for Delhi, then on to Nepal. i'm gonna miss having them around. a Brazilian ywam'er is coming to join us today for 3 wks. i have 2 thoughts on this...
# 1. i hope he doesn't speak Spanish (as most Brazilians do) cause that could really hinder my hindi learning.
# 2. i hope he's ugly :)
