We're going to Lakeland!

A week ago, we received an email that left us speechless and in complete awe of God.

"You don't know us from Adam, but we have been following your progress and been praying for you, for some time. We want to buy you plane tickets to the outpouring in Lakeland, so you can go get some."

Strangers, but family.

At first my eyes filled with tears and then I couldn't stop laughing. We haven't stopped praising God all week.

We fly out next monday, June 2nd and will fly back on sunday, the 8th. This is beyond beautiful.
Our spirits are filled with expectation.

Thank you so much John & Tammie, Ted & Mary! We are forever grateful for all your prayers and generosity. We can't wait to meet you guys!

In the meantime, please pray with us for Cody's blood counts. His platelets and white counts were really low yesterday. There's a possibility that he'll need a platelet transfusion over the next couple of days. He'll get tested again tomorrow. We're praying fevently today that his white counts would rise enough to get him out of the infection risk zone. We have to go to Lakeland!

I'm reminded of the time when Jesus went to Capernaum and so many people gathered in the house until there was no room left. Some men brought a paralytic to see Jesus, but because of the crowd they couldn't get to him. So they went up on the roof and started taking it apart, and lowered the man down. I like to think they lowered him down right onto the lap of Jesus. Just imagine the desperation in their hearts. They didn't give up and just turn around and go home. They literally climbed up onto the roof and tore it apart! Wow!

I feel like one of those guys right about now. I have a holy desperation in my heart to see Cody healed and completely restored, to see God give him a new lung, and a new testicle among other things. I know God can do it. With Him ALL things are possible.

So we're going to Lakeland to see the top specialist. I think you know Him.
